One of the best restaurants in Puerto de la Cruz. Fresh products, homemade desserts. The service is magnificent! And the béarnaise sauce!!!! Absolutely fabulous

Simple shared salad (I suspect I didn't make it myself) with cucumber, sauerkraut and two thick slices of tomato. Salad from a bag. A white indeterminate and tasteless dressing.

Then hard fried calamari from the frozen, fries from the freezer, unseasoned wiener schnitzel and all fried in old oil.

Schnitzel 13.90, calamari even 17.90. For that money you expect at least fresh food that is well prepared. A simple snack bar is much better (and cheaper)

Everything with a bad aftertaste that lingers for hours.

We didn't dare try the coffee.

Either they have a lot of friends for whom they cook well, or all those good reviews have a questionable origin.

Worst experience in years, unworthy of the island.

We were always welcomed very warmly and served politely. Petra is very friendly and responds to all guests' wishes! The food, whether fish or meat, is very good and we can only recommend it. The restaurant is located on El Lomo, so it's not right in the center, so it's very quiet on this side street. So dear readers, go and see for yourself. ☺️

Spaniards in Tenerife looking for a good meal came across El Padrino.
Located opposite the La Paz viewpoint, from where you can enjoy spectacular views.
We ordered the set menu (€13.9). It included a delicious salad, entrecote (rare, a little overcooked), and a delicious grandma's cake for dessert.
We didn't like the draft beer, so we ordered a bottle.
The service was very friendly, accommodating, and nice (Victor and Lorena, I think).
We were on the front terrace, very well located, shaded, and well-ventilated.
The menu doesn't include drinks or coffee, which is why the bill is so high.

We came to the pizzeria as usual; it's definitely our favorite, and although we came from La Matanza, the trip was worth it.

When we ordered our favorite pizza (El Padrino, with shrimp, mojo verde, etc.), we discovered that they'd changed the entire menu. I understand that changes are sometimes necessary, but when something works, and it works well, I don't understand the reason for changing it.

The bar's atmosphere is great, calm and pleasant, and the waiters are very friendly. On this occasion, Víctor and Lorena served us wonderfully and kindly explained the menu changes to us. Even so, we ask the owner to reconsider adding this pizza back to the menu, as it's not just us, but many of our family members also come here for this pizza!

Perhaps, on our next visit, we'll be lucky enough to try it again!

We can't give the place 5 stars for this reason, and honestly, I feel quite sorry for it!

PS: The Italian (Sicilian) client recruiter is amazing! We loved her!

Victor and Lorena served us. We returned to the pizzeria and saw that they had changed the menu. As for the pizzas, we are missing one, which is "the godfather." We were looking forward to eating that pizza, it's the best. The atmosphere is always good, the service is the best. They have great staff, and you have a pleasant time.

We ate out of this restaurant twice in a week.
Restaurant is spotless, decor is elegant and very well laid out. Food is the best we ve tasted in a long time, every dish was delicious and perfectly cooked. The breaded mushrooms were so light and alot of them, the fried camembert also so light , oozed warm cheese dipped in red jam..amazing 😋. The staff that served us on the two nights were Victor, Yolanda and Tiaza. All were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is set facing a beautiful church and a view of the sea on the left. Definitely recommend eating here.

First you are put at a table that still needs to be cleaned, so move to another table. Staff grumpy and pouring drinks is done in such a hurry that it flies over.
After ordering food, you will receive a sandwich in advance that you did not order, but you will be charged for this.

There was way too much soy in the rice, which made it unpalatable. The fries with the schnitzel were also inedible. The schnitzel itself was okay. But comes without sauce??

I was welcomed by Leila who is a very pleasant person and who also speaks French. You also have the possibility to choose your menu in your language. Restaurants that offer a menu in French are rare.

We went for dinner and everything was great, the service was unbeatable. Evelyn and Juliana attended us, very pleasant and attentive. The only downside is that the price is a little high, but it's worth it.

Yesterday my partner and I went with a reservation from TheFork which gave him €25 as a credit and what was our surprise that the manager said he didn't know the App... There was no reservation and that maybe it worked for another of their restaurants... and you go to TheFork App and you see a score of 10" for the place and many comments and one from just 4 days ago... My opinion of the food, it is very little, expensive and super normal and tasteless, we ordered salad octopus and avocado and the salad had 3 pieces of octopus and 3 pieces of avocado and 3 lettuces €13.90 half a limpet without mojo and no taste €9 a full portion is worth €12 and we ordered some spaghetti with prawns and garlic mushrooms and they brought us a huge plate with a little bit of spaghetti with seafood that we didn't order, it had 3 prawns and 3 mussels €14.90 and it took a long time to bring it... 2 bottles of water and the bread with butter €65.27 and no dessert And for the breast, none of the €25 of TheFork balance, the truth is I don't recommend ever eating there only if you bring your enemy to pay the bill... much less Thefork which is the second time they deceive us and wash their hands as if it weren't with them... They are impressive!!

Nothing special.
Ordered:
Paela with chicken, not very tasty, the chicken is probably old, probably the worst dish of this type that I have eaten on the islands or in Spain.
Fish with tiny additions, poorly seasoned, served without lemon.
The nervous service introduced a strange atmosphere.
Overall, I don't recommend it.

Very friendly and attentive service. Nice atmosphere, excellent wine selection. Excellent starters especially the croquettes and the mixed salad.
As a main course, grilled cod with vegetables and an excellent paella with fish.
All highly recommended! Were there on Sunday and we would love to come again!

Warm and smiling welcome. The paella, served on the terrace, requires a 25-minute wait, but it's worth it. What a treat! Well dosed, quite a bit of seafood, it's the boss (I think) who prepares the plates in front of you. An address to remember.
